Title: Any Updates?

Hi Chris,

Wondering if things are ok with you? I know you are busy with new house etc? Would be good to hear from you though and any plans for the game?

I know I am not playing but like others have said, it would be a shame to see this game being finished.

Take care

Ichi

Is this a 1 man project? I haven't played this game in quite a while but when I did I thought it definitely had alot of potential, I think it'd be a good idea if Chris started looking for some volunteers to work on it, it'd probably make his life a whole lot easier, plus development would speed up considerably.

I am back at work agian... You are right on the volunteers, this is something I have contemplated over the past few weeks. I have had some people help in the past with map development and website help. The map development had worked out once or twice. Infact the entire second floor of the ice dungeon was developed by a loyal player.

I have been leary of someone just running away with the code base though... I was previously working on a development kit for people to download giving access to about 60-70% of the source code except the internal workings of the client/server. Also to make large changes would take considerable time for someone to learn the architecture. If I could find someone who was going to be truely committed and trustworthy I would consider doing this (or if I could finish the dev kit that would make this much easier).
